Turrón rolls with cinnamon sugar
A Christmas dessert made with soft almond turrón (Spanish nougat): it is cut into bars, rolled up in half a tortilla and sealed with egg. The rolls are browned in the air fryer at 180 °C and, while still warm, tossed in cinnamon sugar. Makes 8 rolls.

Ingredients
- 4 Delibreads tortillas (wheat or wholemeal)
- 150 g soft almond turrón (about 1/2 bar)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 egg (for brushing and sealing)
- Mild olive oil spray or brush
Method
- Cut each tortilla in half to get 8 pieces.
- Place a bar of turrón (2-3 cm thick) at one end of each half tortilla. Roll up tightly into a cylinder and seal the edge with a little beaten egg.
- In a bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
- Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C and, meanwhile, spray or brush the rolls with a little olive oil.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway so they are golden on both sides. While still warm, roll them in the cinnamon sugar so they are well coated.
